About

Perhaps the best way to describe this website is to say that it serves as a sounding board for film junkies with a passion for human rights. Beginning as a complement of Mark Gibney’s book Watching Human Rights: The 101 Best Films (Paradigm Publishers) it has grown to explore new releases and brings on-board others with an interest in the overlap between film and human rights. The site also gives readers (assuming there are any) the opportunity of sharing their own views, in addition we are also working to incorporate film rankings from university a student’s where they have been screened. If you are screening a film reviewed on this site to your audience do get in touch and we will provide you with a mobile-friendly survey tool. With this in mind, let’s talk about film and human rights.
